  • Two men, identified as Jamar Trower and Joshua Waples, were arrested Sunday following a fight at the corner of North Bradford and Mary streets, Dover.

  • Two men, identified as Jamar Trower and Joshua Waples, were arrested Sunday following a fight at the corner of North Bradford and Mary streets, Dover.
    Dover Police determined that Trower, 28 of the 700 block of River Road, Dover, and Waples, 35, of the 9800 block of Greentop Road, Lincoln, had been involved in a physical altercation, said police spokesman Lt. Marvin Mailey.
    Waples allegedly used a knife to cut Trower’s face, while Trower was in possession of a starter’s pistol, Mailey said.
    Trower was charged with a single count of menacing, and released on an unsecured bond.
    Waples was charged with first-degree assault, disorderly conduct and public intoxication, and jailed after being unable to post a total of $35,750 cash and secured bond.
