  • Crazy In Stereo
WHAT Crazy In Stereo in concert
    WHEN 9:30 p.m., Friday
WHERE Fire & Ice at Dover Downs Hotel & Casino, 1131 North Dupont Highway, Dover
    INFO doverdowns.com or call 674-4600
Bonkers seems tamed after experiencing the guys and dolls behind Crazy In Stereo.
Every bar and stool is a stage for this crew. And their antics are only outmatched by their lush harmonies and musicianship.
If you're in the mood for an eclectic flavor of dance, rock, country and hip hop ─ look no further. Crazy In Stereo will have you covered at the Fire & Ice Lounge at Dover Downs Hotel & Casino tonight.
In addition to their shenanigans, another quality separating Crazy In Stereo from its peers is that the clan has a nice selection of hip-hop tunes in its arsenal like B.O.B.'s "Airplanes," Jay-Z's "Dirt Off Your Shoulder" and "99 Problems," Kanye West's "Gold Digger" and Run DMC's "It's Tricky." Of course, the guys also play classic rock covers. But Def Leppard's "Pour Some Sugar on Me" just doesn't excite like "99 Problems."

At the Dover Art League (W. Loockerman Street), plein air artist E. Jean Laynon's exceptional works are on display in the The Artist's Eye exhibit in the Holden Gallery.

    'Booking' it to Acorn
WHAT Book signing with indie author Leon Opio and nine other authors
WHEN Noon to 4 p.m., Saturday
WHERE Acorn Books, 1030 Forrest Ave., Suite 114, Dover
    COST Free
    INFO acornbooks.net or call 734-9100
Desperation is choking the life out of four people being held captive in separate rooms.
Each person is responsible for the same crime and will endure his or her own private hell. While in these rooms, they'll relive the acts that have brought them together. They'll each endure fear and pain and will understand how it feels to yell for help and have no one come to their rescue.
This is the dismal reality for an unlucky bunch in Leon Opio's new horror novel, "Vengeance is Mine," a book he'll be signing autographs for at Acorn Books on Saturday.
Opio will be accompanied by nine other indie authors signing books: William Walton, Helen Dowing, Cheyenne Doe, Dana Davis, McKenzie Betts, William Kaye, Father Mast, Michele Cheynoweth and Lacey Lafferty.
