  • Gunman takes phone, debit card

  • Dover Police are investigating an armed robbery that took place June 29.

  • An armed robber stole a Dover man’s cell phone and debit card during a nighttime holdup on Anne Avenue, Dover.
    The incident took place at 11:15 p.m. June 29, said Dover Police Department spokesman Capt. Tim Stump.
    The victim told police he was walking along the street when a black man came up to him, placed a gun against his head and demanded the items. The robber was last seen walking toward Salisbury Road, Stump said.
