  • Dover Police have arrested the man believed to have burglarized the Zuha Trend store at 207 W. Loockerman St.
    The burglary took place at 4:07 a.m. June 26, said police spokesman Lt. Daniel McKeown.
    The suspect, later identified as James E. Smith, 45, allegedly threw a brick through the front window, entered the building and removed miscellaneous items and money before running away.
    Detectives identified Smith later in the day through surveillance video and took him into custody without incident.
    Smith, of the 300 block of West Reed Street, Dover, was charged with third-degree burglary, possession of burglar’s tools, theft and felony criminal mischief.
    He was jailed at the James T. Vaughn Correctional Center in default of a $9,100 secured bond.
