The Dance Factory's annual summer performance will unveil five fun new works at Delaware State University's Education and Humanities Theater on Sunday.

Each piece is choreographed by local dancers ranging from ages 9 to 18 and it's a culmination of several months of work in which the groups identified a topic, researched it, developed movement phrases and decided on music and costuming.

"It was a wonderful experience for all the dance students participating in the course work," said Sheri Towner-Gabrelcik, director and owner of The Dance Factory. "They were excited to take ownership of their choreography and it was quite inspiring to watch their pieces develop."
