Two men, identified as John Glover and Marcus Cole, have been arrested following a Dover home invasion. Police are looking for two other men in connection with the crime.
Dover Police have arrested two men and are looking for two others after a Wednesday morning home invasion.
The incident began at 12:43 a.m. in the 700 block of Bacon Avenue, said police spokesman Capt. Timothy Stump.
Four men, armed with handguns, came into the home and demanded the residents hand over their possessions, Stump said. The men took a small black safe and fled.
Dover officers on patrol caught two of the men and recovered the safe, Stump said.
The men were identified as Marcus Cole, 22, of the 100 block of Terry Drive, Magnolia, and John Glover, 25, of the 21000 block of Cubbage Pond Road, Lincoln.
Both were charged with home invasion, first-degree robbery, first-degree burglary, possession of a firearm during commission of a felony, wearing a disguise during commission of a felony and second-degree conspiracy.
Cole and Glover were committed to the James T. Vaughn Correctional Center, Smyrna; bond information was not available at press time.
Police were not able to catch the other two suspects, who were described only at black men.
Stump asked that anyone with information about the identities of the two men contact Dover Police at (302) 736-7111. Callers may remain anonymous, he said.
Information also may be provided via tip lines maintained by Delaware Crime Stoppers at (800) TIP-3333, or online at www.tipsubmit.com.
