Cancer Support Community Delaware presents "Giddy Up" on Thursday at the Cowboy Up Saloon in Dover, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
This family-friendly event will include music, line-dancing lessons, raffles and a cornhole tournament (entry fee is $10 per team). There will be drink specials with beverages served by bartenders: Marion Klein, Bob Simmons, Ray Failing, Chad Reed, Liam Moher and Carrie McCann.
The Kent County branch of the Cancer Support Community opened its doors in 2002. Since then, the has been honored to be able to provide programs for education, support and hope, free of charge to people in Kent County who've been impacted by cancer.
