  • State Police investigate drive by shooting

  • Delaware State Police Troopers and EMS responded to a call at a residence in the 100 block of Presidents Drive, in the Capitol Park neighborhood of Dover early Wednesday night, after receiving a call stating that two subjects had been shot.
    Troopers were informed that a blue Crown Victoria or Grand Marquis carrying four male suspects had driven by the residence and shot the two male victims, a 22-year-old and a 44-year-old, who were standing in the drive way.
    After the shots were fired the car fled out of the neighborhood onto Bay Road.
    The victims were transported to a local hospital, where they were treated for gunshot wounds to their legs.
    An inspection of the crime scene by police uncovered several shots, which had been fired at the victims. This investigation remains open.
