The 25th year of the DuPont Clifford Brown Festival in the heart of Wilmington - with the right price for every consumer!
Past festival patrons have heard the classic “I Remember Clifford” by Benny Golson, originally penned as a remembrance of his friend. Artists like Chic Corea, Jerry Gonzalez, Pete Escovedo and his orchestra, KEM, Odean Pope Saxophone Choir, Roy Haynes Fountain of Youth Band, HIROMI, Dee Dee Bridgewater, Jonathan Butler, and TAKE 6 have all performed here. The DuPont Clifford Brown Jazz Festival is the city's tribute to this great man and a way to keep his memory alive. 2008 marked the twentieth year of a multi-day jazz festival in downtown Wilmington, and since its inception in 1989 the city has worked hard to bring world-class musicians to Wilmington in the month of June.
