  • Troopers with the Delaware State Police Major Crimes have arrested a man suspected of having committed a rape in Harrington.
    The suspect, Kaleb C. Zadroga, 21, of the unit block of Juanita Drive, Magnolia, was arrested May 29, according to documents released by Justice of the Peace Court 7, Dover.
    Zadroga had been wanted on suspicion of having sexually assaulted an 18-year-old woman on May 7, said police spokesman Master Cpl. Gary Fournier.
    Zadroga allegedly forced himself upon the woman while holding a knife to her neck, according to the affidavit of probable cause. He allegedly told the victim he would kill her if she told anyone.
    Zadroga was charged with first-degree rape, possession of a deadly weapon during the commission of a felony, first-degree unlawful imprisonment and terroristic threatening.
    He was jailed in lieu of a $154,000 secured bail.
