  • Beautiful, thought-provoking and made with state-of-the-art technology, "The Life of Pi" is Dover Public Library's choice for its free last-Friday film.
Based on a popular novel, "Life of Pi," Ang Lee's film tells the story of a young man who loses his family and creatures from their zoo after a shipwreck leaves him on a small raft with several other animal survivors including a tiger. The film is full of surprises and beautiful visual effects, of which the latter was the reason it won an Academy Award.
"Life of Pi" will be shown at the library on Friday at 7 p.m. and Saturday at 2 p.m.
