  • Officers with the Harrington Police Department have arrested a Milford woman on suspicion of drunk driving for the fifth time.
The woman, identified as Ramona M. Vinyard, 53, of the 2500 block of Thompsonville Road, Milford, was stopped May 19 for a traffic violation, said police spokesman Lt. Earl Brode. After smelling alcohol coming from the car, the officers conducted standard field sobriety tests and took Vinyard into custody, Brode said. A search of her vehicle turned up drug paraphernalia, he added.
Vinyard was charged with fifth-offense DUI, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving with a suspended license and possession of a suspended license.
She was jailed at the Sussex Correctional Institution, Georgetown, after failing to post at $6,100 cash bond.
