  • Police in Harrington arrested a local man May 19 after he allegedly was found with drugs in his car following a traffic stop.
The man, identified as Daniel C. Lilly, 21, of the 200 block of Pleasant Pine Circle, Harrington, was stopped May 19, said department spokesman Lt. Earl Brode. After officers saw evidence of drug paraphernalia when Lilly was taking his license out of his wallet, they scanned his vehicle using a department K-9, which indicated drugs were present.
A search turned up three suboxone strips, a suboxone pill, eight trazadone pills and drug paraphernalia, Brode said.
Lilly was charged with three counts of possessing or consuming a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and failure to stop at a red light. Lilly was released on $2,075 unsecured bond after his arraignment at Justice of the Peace Court 2.
