The Biggs Museum of American Arts will launch its 21st anniversary Gala: Affair with the Arts.
The Gala is the Museum's premier annual fundraising event, attracting more than 400 enthusiastic friends and supporters. The Gala is designed to bring in substantial revenue that directly supports temporary exhibitions and educational programming for the forthcoming year. Gov. Jack Markell and First Lady Carla Markell will serve as the honorary chairpersons for the event.
The Gala will include live entertainment with the band Jump Street, of Philadelphia, Pa. The showmanship and talent of this dynamic group guarantees to yield the right blend of music to have all guests on the dance floor.
Caffe Gelato, of Newark, will be returning again to serve delectable fare sure to delight everyone's taste buds. An open bar, including specialty drinks, will also be offered. A silent auction, raffle and more will be spotlighted, too.
