Smooth operator Richie Fields will show the First State some love at Fire & Ice at Dover Downs Hotel & Casino on Saturday.
Known for his energetic live shows and ability to connect with his audience, the country singer Fields has toured nationally, playing at many of the country's most renowned venues and has opened for many of country music's biggest names. Furthermore, one of the bright moments in Fields' career came during 93.1 WPOC radio's "Sunday in the Country" concert at Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia, Md., in 2011. At the event he opened for a lineup including Josh Turner, Joe Nichols, The Band Perry, Brantley Gilbert, Steel Magnolia, Hunter Hayes and Frankie Ballard.

The event will be held at Delaware Veterans, Inc., Post 2.
An array of art and masterfully crafted home décor items and fashion accessories, created by Kent County artists and artisans, will be for sale. Fused glass, stained glass, woodwork, welded art, paintings, fabric art, pottery, photography, homemade jewelry and much more will be on display.
Proceeds from the vendor fees and refreshment sales will benefit the Delaware Veteran's Benevolent Fund and Scholarship Fund.

The Schwartz Center for the Arts will pay homage to the legendary Motown era with a concert from the mighty Motor City Fever on Saturday.
Journeying back to the 1960s when Motown Records' tunes dominated the airwaves, Motor City Fever will cover a trove of Motown hits from groups like The Supremes, The Temptations and Stevie Wonder. What's more, the songs won't be coming from just anyone, since performers with MCF have actually shared the stage with some of the aforementioned legends.
The cast is backed by an outstanding live band. You'll also see some remarkable costuming.
This Motor City Fever concert will mark the last show of the Schwartz Center's season.
