Harrington Police, responding to a domestic dispute call May 7 arrested a local man after he became disorderly and cursed at the officers.
The incident took place in the 100 block of Dorman Street, said department spokesman Lt. Earl Brode. During their investigation, police determined no laws had been broken and made no arrests.
As they were leaving, however, an individual who had been involved in the dispute, identified as Robert W. Barmer Jr., 32, became disorderly and started cursing at the officers, Brode said. Barmer, who appeared to be intoxicated, ignored several requests to cease his actions and was arrested, he said.
Barmer was issued a criminal summons for disorderly conduct and released.
