Dover International Speedway staff and volunteers will take part in NASCAR Green's Clean Air Tree Planting Program at the Central Delaware Soccer Association (CDSA) on Friday.
The NASCAR program aims to offset emissions released during a race weekend at the Monster Mile Crash Course, as well as provide trees to an area of need in the community.
Thirty-four trees will be planted, along with compost and mulch at the site. Established in 1983, Central Delaware Soccer Association is a non-profit organization serving children ages 3-19 in Kent, New Castle and Sussex counties. CDSA offers instructional and travel soccer programs, as well as skills camps, which serve players of all levels.
