  • Dover Police probe Friday home burglary

  • Dover Police are investigating a home break-in that took place Friday.

  • Detectives with the Dover Police Department's Criminal Investigations Unit are probing a home burglary that occurred at 5 Rutherford Court, Dover.
    The break-in took place between 8:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Friday, said police spokesman Lt. Daniel McKeown. The burglars got into the home by breaking through a rear door, he said. Jewelry and electronic equipment were taken.
    When caught, the burglars would be charged, at a minimum, with second-degree burglary, theft and criminal mischief, McKeown said.
