  • Dover Police to host drug take-back day

  • Dover Police will be collecting old medications so they may be safely disposed of.

  • The Dover Police Department's headquarters at 400 S. Queen St., Dover, will be one of several Kent County locations Saturday where area residents can safely dispose of old medications.
    The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
    The effort is part of the National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day. Other locations include the Camden Police Department, Delaware State University Police Department and any assisted living facility within the Dover city limits.
    The event is free and anonymous, and no questions or requests for identification will be made by law enforcement personnel present.
