Ethel M. Baldauf of Westminster Village in Dover, DE died on Friday, April 5, 2013 at Kent General Hospital in Dover, DE.
She was 91.
Mrs. Baldauf was born September 29, 1921 in Pittsburgh, PA, the daughter of the late Elmer and Matilda Harman.
She was a homemaker who later worked with her husband in their Dental Lab business.
A forced moved from Florida to Dover seven years ago, became a blessing for her, as it allowed her to spend special times with her daughters and grandchildren whom she cherished.
Ethel became an active participant at Westminster Village volunteering at the gift shop and serving on several committees. She loved to play bridge with her friends and spending time with her extended family at Westminster Village. She also enjoyed reading, and liked watching golf on TV.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph; her brother, John Harman; and her grandson, Bruce Scroggs.
She is survived by her 2 daughters, Shirley Watterson of Dover, DE and Nancy Blowe and her husband, Tom of Oak Hill, VA; 5 grandchildren, Sherry Lamper (Rick), Tammy Pierce, Chad Scroggs, Dennis Blowe (Mary), and Jenny Couch (Tom); 14 great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
Memorial services will be held at Westminster Village at a later date.
Burial will be at Arlington National Cemetery.
