  • The Division for the Visually Impaired (DVI) will hold two public hearings on the state plan for vocational rehabilitation and independent living and older individuals who are blind programs April 8 and 22.

  • The Division for the Visually Impaired (DVI) will hold two public hearings on the state plan for vocational rehabilitation and independent living and older individuals who are blind programs April 8 and 22.
    The public hearing will be held from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. April 8 at the DelDOT building, Farmington/Felton Room, 800 Bay Road, Dover, and from 1 to 3:30 p.m. April 22 at the Holloway Cafe': DHSS Herman M. Holloway Campus, 1901 N. DuPont Highway, New Castle.
    DVI will be sharing state plans for the above programs. The Division wants to hear from individuals with visual impairments and representatives from the community for feedback. Representatives and decision-makers from the Division for the Visually Impaired and the Vocational Rehabilitation Advisory Council will be on hand to discuss the public’s concerns and provide information on available services.
