Two Wilmington men have been jailed after a traffic stop in Dover yielded a large amount of heroin
Dover officers stopped the pair April 2, in the area of Townsend Boulevard, said police spokesman Capt. Tim Stump. A search of the men's Ford Taurus turned up 716 bags of heroin, 0.5 grams of cocaine, cash and various items of drug paraphernalia, Stump said.
The men, identified as Anthony Terrero, 37, and Samuel Santiago-Rodriguez, 25, both of Wilmington, were each charged with possession of heroin; possession of drug paraphernalia; and second-degree conspiracy.
Both were jailed at the James T. Vaughn Correctional Center in Smyrna in default of $32,750 secured bond.
