  • The League of Women Voters of Kent County presents The Doctrine of Discovery and It's Lasting Effect on Current Law from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday in the East Wing Conference room at the Modern Maturity Center, 1121 Forrest Ave., Dover.

  • The League of Women Voters of Kent County presents The Doctrine of Discovery and It's Lasting Effect on Current Law from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday in the East Wing Conference room at the Modern Maturity Center, 1121 Forrest Ave., Dover.
    The cost is $12 which includes a buffet lunch. The program will be moderated by Ellen Wasfi, LWVKC. There will be a short film, "Healing Turtle Island," and comments from Dennis Coker, chief of Lenape Indian Tribe of Delaware. For more information, call (302) 697-8600.
