  • The sixth annual Bayhealth Nursing Research Conference will be held from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. April 17 in the conference center at the Delaware Technical and Community College, Terry Campus, 100 Campus Drive, Dover.

  • The sixth annual Bayhealth Nursing Research Conference will be held from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. April 17 in the conference center at the Delaware Technical and Community College, Terry Campus, 100 Campus Drive, Dover.
    This year's theme is nurse fatigue, stress, burnout, and their effects on quality patient care. The keynote speaker is Dr. Jeanne Geiger-Brown, University of Maryland School of Nursing. Dr. Cynthia Diefenbeck, University of Delaware School of Nursing, will address nurse burnout, and Carol Martin, MBA, quality and patient safety officer with North Country Health System, Newport, Vt., will present an evidence-based approach to medication reconciliation.
    The cost of the conference is $70; $40 for full-time students. Attendees must register in advance; no walk-ins. For more information, call (302) 744-7135.
