Eric Gray, who police have been searching for since Feb 28, when heroin was discovered at the home he shares with his brother, was arrested on Wednesday.
The serach for Eric A. Gray began on Feb. 28, when police conducted a search of the house that Eric shared with his brother Theodore. When police arrived at the house they found Theodore and Perry Bendelewski sitting in the driveway of the house. According to State Police, when the car was searched 3 grams of marijuana and two bags of heroin were found.
During the execution of the search warrant police found detectives located 1,293 bags of heroin (32.325 grams total) packaged individually for sale, drug paraphernalia as well as over $4,300.00 in suspected drug proceeds. Police also discovered that there were two children in the house under the age of ten. What they didn’t find in the house was Eric.
The search for Eric continued until Wednesday when Delaware State Police andDover Police arrested Gray after he was located at the Dover Inn Motel located on North DuPont Hwy in Dover.
He was taken back to Troop three and processed on the charges of: possession with intent to deliver heroin, possession of heroin, conspiracy in the second degree, two counts of endangering the welfare of a child and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was arraigned at JP2 and committed to JTVCC on $124,000.00 secured bond.
