Jack M. Quigley passed away Saturday, March 9, 2013 at the Delaware Veterans Home, Milford. He was 75.
Jack was born in 1937 in Camden, New Jersey, son of the late John and Elizabeth (Passwater) Quigley.
He served his country proudly and with honor for over 27 years of combined service of Army and Air Force, where he retired as Master Sergeant. He was wounded in combat action during Viet Nam and had over 1000 hours flying security on C-5’s. He then worked 12 years Civil Service at Dover Air Force Base.
Jack had taught Sunday School as a teenager and had a love for his dogs.
He is survived by his loving and dedicated wife of 52 years Jeannine Quigley, three children Christine and her husband Endel of NM, Kathleen and her husband Christopher of NJ and Patrick and his wife Colleen of SD, grandchildren Aleks, Sean and his wife Shannon, Krista, Shane, Casey and Jacqueline, great granddaughter Caitlynn and two sisters Myrtietta Carroll of FL and Betty Rutledge of MD.
Per Jack’s wishes, his service will be private.
