  • A 54-year-old Magnolia man is facing his fourth drunk driving charge following a traffic stop in Harrington on Saturday.
Joseph D. Pierce was driving on South Dupont Highway near Delaware Avenue when police stopped his vehicle for a traffic violation, Harrington Police Department spokesman Lt. Earl Brode said.
Officers reportedly detected the odor of alcohol coming from the vehicle and Pierce failed field sobriety tests, Brode said.
Police also learned Pierce was driving on a revoked license and had been arrested on DUI charges three times in the past, he said.
Pierce is charged with fourth offense DUI, driving on a suspended or revoked license and failure to report address change.
He is being held at the Sussex Correctional Institution on a $3,600 secured bond, Brode said.
