A Dover woman was arrested for possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia Monday, police said.
Members of the Dover Police Department's Drug Unit conducted an investigation into the mailing of drugs to an address in the city of Dover on March 3, Dover Police Department Capt. Tim Stump said. A search warrant was executed at 96 Hitching Post Dr. and detectives recovered 12.5 pounds of marijuana which had been shipped to that location through the mail.
Sheriana Peart was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana, conspiracy, two counts of endangering the welfare of a child and possession of drug paraphernalia.
She was then committed to the Baylor Womens Correctional Facility in default of $18,000 secured bond, he said.
