  • Margaret (Peg Jenkins) Neil, 96, went home to be with the Lord on March 2, 2013.
    A long-time resident of Dover, she was born in Sunny Hills, Hockessin, DE daughter of Parker and Minnie (Curry) Baldwin.
    She graduated from Wilmington High School and worked for the DuPont Company. After moving to Dover in 1955, she went to work for Prentice Hall. She retired in 1984. She and her late husband, Clayton Jenkins, started Jen-Mor Florists in Dover in the late '50s.
    A long-time member of Wyoming United Methodist Church, she was a volunteer in the church office for more than 30 years.
    Besides her husband Clayton Jenkins, she is also preceded in death by husband Charlies Neil, a brother and three sisters. She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Iva and Daniel Iovacchini, of Dover and Florida; two grandsons, Rodney Altemus and his wife, Pamela of Harrington and Donald Altemus and his wife, Frances of Clayton; three great-grandchildren, Amanda, Steven and Joshua, one niece, two nephews and a host of friends too numerous to mention.
    Funeral services will be held at the Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden-Wyoming Ave., Wyoming on Friday, March 8 at 11 a.m. Friends may call an hour before the service. Burial will follow in Sharon Hills Cemetery, West Dover.
    In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Delaware Hospice Center, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, DE 19963.
