  • A 55-year-old Dover man remains in critical condition Monday after being hit by a vehicle while rollerblading in Rehoboth Beach over the weekend.

  • A 55-year-old Dover man remains in critical condition Monday after being hit by a vehicle while rollerblading in Rehoboth Beach over the weekend.
    Robert C. Flanagan was heading west on Rehoboth Avenue, just west of Church Street, about 8:15 p.m. on Saturday, when he was struck by an unidentified vehicle also heading west, Delaware State Police spokesman Cpl. John Day said.
    The vehicle continued west after the collision and police are asking for the public's help in locating the driver.
    Flanagan was initially taken to Beebe Medical Center in Lewes before being flown to Christiana Hospital, where he was admitted in serious condition with injuries to the head and torso, Day said.
