  • Twenty electronic slot machines were seized and a Florida man was arrested after a joint investigation led officers to find that there was illegal gambling going on at a rest stop on Del. Route 301 in Middletown.
Todd Levine, 44, of Boca Rotan, Fla. Was charged with money laundering, providing a premise for gambling, and possession illegal gambling devices after a warrant was executed at 301 Plaza Truck Stop on Middletown-Warwick Road.
After receiving a complaint of the illegal gambling, Delaware State Police conducted a joint investigation with the Division of Alcohol and Tobacco Enforcement.
Levine was arrested Feb. 11 after turning himself in at Delaware State Police Troop 9.
Twenty electronic slot machines, $2,500 in cash from the slot machines, and $25,000 from a related business account were seized during the investigation.
Levine was released on a $20,000 bond pending a Preliminary Hearing in the New Castle County Court of Common Pleas.
