  • Busy night ahead for Dover City Council

  • Dover City Council is scheduled to meet at 7:30 p.m. tonight for its biweekly meeting, council's Legislative, Finance & Administration Committee also has a full agenda prior to the action meeting at 6 p.m. and the Utility Committee starts things off at 5 p.m. in City Hall chambers.

  • Dover City Council is scheduled to meet at 7:30 p.m. tonight for its biweekly meeting, council's Legislative, Finance & Administration Committee also has a full agenda prior to the action meeting at 6 p.m. and the Utility Committee starts things off at 5 p.m. in City Hall chambers.
    Council's regular meeting agenda includes a briefing on Delaware Department of Transportation (DelDOT) projects, a briefing on Dover/Kent County Metropolitan Planning Organization projects, an update on the creation of Bicycle/Pedestrian Subcommittee and an annexation request.
    As for the Legislative, Finance & Adminstration committee, the agenda items include proposed ordinances on vacant buildings and problem rental properties, respectively, and filling vacant City Council positions when they become open.
    The Utility Committee will receive updates on the Solar Park and the Calpine project, among other things.
