  • Surveillance photos released from South Dover liquor store robbery

  • Police are searching for two white males in connection to a liquor store robbery in South Dover last Friday night. Delaware State Police have released photos captured from surveillance video from the Feb. 1 armed robbery of Airport Discount Liquors off South Bay Road.

  • Delaware State Police have released photos captured from surveillance video from the Feb. 1 armed robbery of Airport Discount Liquors in South Dover.
    The first suspect was armed with an unknown type of handgun, Master Cpl. Gary Fournier said. He was described as a white male, between 6-foot-1 and 6-foot-2, 210 to 220 pounds with a large build. He wa wearing a dark sweatshirt with grey sleeves, jeans and a mask.
    The second suspect was unarmed, Fournier said. He was described as a white male, 5-foot-9 to 5-foot-10, 190 to 200 pounds with average build. He was wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt with #3 on right side, dark colored jeans and a mask.
    Two men, one of whom was armed with a handgun, entered the store located at 1148 South Bay Road and demanded money from a 49-year-old male employee and a 47-year-old employee. The employees complied and turned over an undisclosed amount of cash before the suspects fled from the business on foot. Neither of the employees were injured in this incident.
