  • Members of the 436th Civil Engineer squadron's Explosive Ordnance Disposal Flight are scheduled to conduct demolitions training in Dover on Feb 1.
Training is scheduled to occur between the hours of 8 a.m. and 2 p.m.
This training is essential and helps to ensure the readiness of EOD personnel. As a result of this training, some residents may hear more noise than usual coming from the base’s training range and may experience ground shaking. It is important to note that noise from the range may travel farther during overcast weather conditions.
Dover Air Force Base works hard to minimize the impact training has on the surrounding communities and is committed to remaining good neighbors.
