  • Two teens arrested in connection with string of Dover robberies

  • Dover Police arrest two teens after they were discovered attempting to break into a local home. Police connected them to a string of recent burglaries.

  • On Jan. 29 the Dover Police received a report of a burglary in progress in the 400 block of Cold Spring Place in Dover. The two suspects, 16-year-old James Palmer 16 and 17-year-old Antione Rayfield-Canty were damaging the rear door, attempting to gain entry into the residence. Officers stopped the two suspects as they were leaving the area in a white BMW and apprehended both during the traffic stop. A search of the vehicle yielded stolen property from several burglaries in the Dover area. Palmer and Rayfield-Canty were charged with burglaries and related charges from Green Blade Drive, Seskinore Court, Bacon Avenue and Nimitz Road, as well as the attempted burglary at Cold Spring Place. Both were committed to Stevenson House in default of bond.
