  • Dover and Lake Forest split match up in the pool

  • The Dover boys won their third meet in a row, defeating Lake Forest 101-68 on Thursday afternoon. Nathan Valenti and Cedric Barnes helped lead the way for the Senators in the win. Valenti took home first place in the 100 Freestyle and 100 Backstroke while Barnes finished first overall in the 200 Individual Medley. Both Valenti and Barnes helped the Senators take home wins in the 200 Medley and Free Relay’s, as well.
     
    Not surprisingly, Alan Bundschuh continued to shine for the Spartans. Bundschuh continued his dominance of the 200 Freestyle while taking home first in the 100 butterfly as well.
     
    After starting the season out 3-1 the Spartan boys have now lost three straight meets to fall to 3-4.
     
    On the Lady’s side of things, Lake Forest took the match up on Thursday against Dover, 91-77 breaking a 2-meet losing streak for the Lady Spartans.
     
    Despite some dominance from Dover’s Page Casto, Conner Reader and Brianna Solomon the Lady Spartans were able to come away with a win with their performance in the relay’s.
     
    Lake Forest took home first place in the 200 Medley and 400 Free Relay’s. Holly Bundschuh took home first in the 100 Butterfly while Erin Baker, Morgan Gannon, Ashley Melvin, and Jessalynn Kenton took care of business in the relay’s
     
    For Dover, Solomon took home first place in the 200 Freestyle and 100 Backstroke, while Reader and Casto took home wins in the 200 Individual Medley, 50 Freestyle, 100 Freestyle and 500 Freestyle.
     
    Next up for Dover, they’ll travel south to take on Indian River on Wednesday afternoon.
    For Lake Forest, they also travel south to take on Sussex Central on Thursday afternoon.
