  • Four men are facing drug charges in connection with an undercover drug bust in Harrington on Friday, according to police.
    Dover resident Branden Beck, 29, and Harrington residents Bret A. Fleming, 21, Ricky T. Taylor,30, and Kevin Hughes, 22, all were arrested following an investigation into illegal drug sales in the 200 block of Henley Street in Harrington, police said.
    In addition to those arrests, officers also raided a home in the 200 block of Hanley Street Friday and recovered 122 bags of heroin, 3 grams of marijuana, a machete, drug paraphernalia and $1,510 in cash.
    Beck and Fleming are each charged with possession of a controlled substance. Each was released on a $1,000 unsecured bond.
    Taylor is charged with two counts of intent to manufacture a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance. He was released on a $9,000 unsecured bond.
    Hughes is charged with two counts of intent to manufacture a controlled substance, possession of a deadly weapon and possession of marijuana. He is being held at the Sussex Correctional Institute in default of a $13,500 secured bond.
    Officers from the Harrington Police Department, the Dover Police Department Drug Unit, Delaware Division of Probation and Parole's Operation Safe Streets participated in the investigation.
