  • Obit: Clarence “Hollywood” Peterson

  • Clarence Lewis Peterson, aka Hollywood, as he is better known, of Felton died suddenly on December 5th, 2012; he was 49 years old. Clarence was born on July 7th, 1963 in Indianola, Mississippi of Sunflower County. He was the son of Lillie Peterson and the late Thornton A. Peterson, Sr. Hollywood recently moved to Delaware from Fort Pierce, Florida with his wife, Lillie T. Peterson. He was a self-employed auto-mechanic.

  • Clarence Lewis Peterson, aka Hollywood, as he is better known, of Felton died suddenly on December 5th, 2012; he was 49 years old.  Clarence was born on July 7th, 1963 in Indianola, Mississippi of Sunflower County.  He was the son of Lillie Peterson and the late Thornton A. Peterson, Sr.  Hollywood recently moved to Delaware from Fort Pierce, Florida with his wife, Lillie T. Peterson.  He was a self-employed auto-mechanic.
    He is survived by his wife, Lillie T. Peterson, his mother, Lillie Peterson of Indianola, MS, his son, Jermaine Williams of Mississippi, his daughter, Renee Murray of Mississippi; his four sisters Ruby Townsend and her husband, Henry, of Indianola, MS, Brenda Lago and her husband, Serio, of Dallas, TX, Arika Peterson of Dallas, TX, and Jacquelyn Faint; he is also remembered by his four brothers, Henry Peterson, and his wife, Betty, of Indianoloa, MS, Thornton Peterson  and his wife, Annie, of Holly Springs, MS, Christopher Faint of Indianola, MS, and Derrick Peterson of Dallas, TX, his 8 grandchildren, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
    Hollywood loved cars, and spent his time either working on them or driving them.  He took pride in both the way he repaired a vehicle, and how he handled one.  He also knew how to enjoy his off time, and was known to be the life of the party.  He will be deeply missed by those who knew him, his memory will live on in those called him friend, and his love will be carried in the hearts of his family forever.  
    A celebration of life for Hollywood will take place on Saturday December 15th at the Pippin Funeral Home in Wyoming with a viewing at 11AM, and services starting at 12 Noon.
