This week, the Seacoast Beveragle Lab Hangout did things a little differently than .

Usually, we are all sitting at home on our computers, talking via webcam. But this week, the crew (myself, Brian Aldrich of Seacoast Beverage Lab, Sean Jansen of 2 Beer Guys and Mike Meredith. Missing was Carla Companion, aka, the Beer Babe) hit the road and recorded the podcast on scene at the Samuel Adams Brewery in Jamaica Plain.

Brewery manager Jennifer Glanville was nice enough to sit with us for more than an hour, discussing Samuel Adams and the beer industry. She also led us through a tasting of the 2012 Samuel Adams Utopias as well as the new Samuel Adams Chocolate Box, paired with various beers.

It was a great time, although it was a learning experience because this was the first road trip. Thanks to Jennifer and everyone at Samuel Adams for being so kind.
