  • Couple sought in identity theft case

  • State police are asking for the public's help in identifying a man and a woman who illegally used elderly man's credit card in Sussex and Kent counties last months.
    Police said the couple used the 78-year-old man's credit card on Nov. 22 and Nov. 23 to make $500 worth of illegal transactions at the Georgetown Walmart at 4 College Park Lane, the Milford Walmart Supercenter at 939 N. Dupont Blvd., as well as a unidentified Royal Farms in Dover.
    State police released surveillance photos of the couple on Thursday in the hopes of learning their identities.
    The man and woman are each described as white and between the ages of 30 and 40.
    The woman last was seen wearing a zebra-print shirt and carrying a zebra-print handbag. The man last was seen wearing a dark-colored jacket and a dark-colored knit hat.
