  • Garland “Pee Wee” Carney of Dover passed away Thursday November 29, 2012 at home. He was 69.

    Mr. Carney was born October 2, 1943 in Dover, Delaware to the late James Carney and Louise Mosley Carney.

    He was a baker for Fleshier Bakery and Kirby and Holloway. Mr. Carney was an avid bowler and deer hunter.

    He was a baker for Fleshier Bakery and Kirby and Holloway. Mr. Carney was an avid bowler and deer hunter.
    In addition to his parents he was preceded in by his wife Victoria Pritchett Carney; brother, James (Buck) Carney; granddaughter, Angel Neno.
    He is survived by his daughter, Michelle Carney Dembski and her husband Chris of Dover; brothers, Austin and Richard Carney both of Dover; sisters, Patricia Coward and Jean Kowinski both of Dover; grandchildren, Mylee and Laonly Nino, Taylor Dembski; goddaughter, Melissa Carney and Crystal Carlisle; several nieces, nephews, aunts, Ann and Betty Seeney, Gloria Attix; uncle, Sonny Carney; and special caregiver, Bucky Carney.
    Services will be later a later date.
