Richard Lee Boyles went home to be with the Lord on Friday, November 30th, 2012 in his home with his loving wife by his side. He was born in Nestersville, West Virginia on October 12th, 1934 to the late Flay and Nola Boyles. He was 78 years old.
Richard worked as a tree trimmer for many companies; including Asplundh Tree and the City of Dover. He was also a member of the Modern Maturity Center. He was a hard worker who took great pride in providing for his family. He loved the Lord with all his heart and attended Southside Bptist Church. His favorite past-time was to ride his beloved Suzie and his "grand-dog" Sasha around the neighborhood on his scooter.
He is survived by his wife, Edith Dennison Boyles, his two sons, Robert Boyles, and his wife, Sharon, of Camden, and William Boyles, and his wife, Renae, of Hot Springs, AR; he is also mourned by his two daughters, Darlene Stout of Hot Springs, AR and Diana Bantom of Dover, DE. His memory will be cherished by his six grandchildren, Stacey Perez, and her husband, Boomer, of Clayton, David Brummitt of Middletown, Gregory Boyles of Chesterfield, VA, Christopher Boyles, and his wife, Denise, of Smyrna, Christy Boyles and Kathlena Boyles both of Hot Springs, AR, in addition to four great-grandchildren, Alex, Ethan, Gia, and Marcus as well as a host of other family and friends.
A celebration of Richard's life will be held on Thursday, December 6th at Southside Baptist Church, located at 4904 S. Dupont Hwy, Dover, DE where friends may call between 11AM and 2PM. Letters of condolences can be sent via www.pippinfuneralhome.com.
