  • Louis Anthony Graziosi, 83, a long time resident of the Dover area died on Tuesday, November 6th at the Capitol Healthcare Services center.  He was born January 2nd, 1929 in Jersey City to Louis and Maria Graziosi.
A dedicated and hard-working man, Louis was a proud member of the United States Air Force for over 23 years. It was his honor and pleasure to serve his country. After retiring from active military service, Louis worked as a Driver at Preston Trucking, and was also a self employed entrepreneur.
An avid outdoorsman, Louis loved hunting, fishing, and camping.  He was also fond of talking to people and socializing.  Louis could talk to anybody; his friendly demeanor, easy going manner, and welcoming presence allowed him to make friends with everyone he met.  Louis belonged to Dover Masonic Lodge, the VFW, the Moose Lodge, the American Legion, and the Modern Maturity Center.  Louis was a proud family man, who loved his family.  He was a great husband and an amazing father.
He is survived by his spouse of nearly 64 years, Adelina Graziosi; as well as his daughter, Patricia Watts, and her husband, Richard of Ormond Beach, Florida, his granddaughter, Dr. Korashon Watts, PhD, and her husband, Damon Matlon, of Seattle, Washington. Louis’ loss will be deeply felt by all of those who knew him; his spirit will always be with us, and his love we shall forever carry in our hearts.  He is still well loved, and is deeply missed, and he will never be forgotten by those hearts he has touched.  He will truly and sorrowfully be missed by all who knew and encountered him.
A memorial service will be held at Saint Andrews Lutheran Church at 11 am on Monday, November 12th.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations to the American Cancer Society,  92 Reads Way, Ste 205, New Castle, DE or the Delaware Hospice, 911 S. Dupont Hwy, Dover, DE. Letters of condolences can be sent via www.pippinfuneralhome.com.
