  • Elizabeth S. Hutchins of Dover was called home by the Lord on November 4, 2012.
    Mrs. Hutchins was born February 3, 1927 in Cheswold, Delaware to the late Joseph E. Swain and Nettie E. Moore Swain.
    She was a homemaker and loving mother.  She enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family and her dog Josie.  She will be remembered for her quick wit and generous nature.
    Mrs. Hutchins was a member of the First Baptist Church in Dover.
    In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband James O. Hutchins.
    She is survived by her daughters, Roberta Evasius and her husband Richard of Sylvania, OH and Pat Poore of Frederica; and her son, R. Clayton Bedwell and his wife Joanne of Felton; her much adored grandchildren, Richard, Shannon, Ryan, Lauren, Sarah, and Lindsay; and eight cherished great grandchildren.
    Memorial services will be held 1PM, Saturday, November, 10, 2012 at Torbert Funeral Chapel, 61 S. Bradford Street, Dover.  Friends may call one hour prior.  Internment will be private.
    In lieu of flowers the family suggest contributions be made to Susan G. Komen, Attn:  Donor Services, P.O. Box 650309, Dallas, TX  72565-0309.
