  • State police are investigating the suspicious death of a man whose body was found next to a road near Magnolia early Saturday morning.
    Troopers found the body of a white man on the side of Autumn Moon Lane, south of Walnut Shade Road, about 4 a.m. after receiving a report of a person lying in the roadway.
    The victim, who was pronounced dead at the scene, has not been identified, police said.
    His body was taken to the state medical examiner’s office, where an autopsy will be conducted to determine the exact cause of death.
    Police said the investigation is in its early stages and no further information is available at this time.
