  • The Delaware State Police is investigating the robbery of an Arby's restaurant in Woodside, which occurred Sunday morning.
Police say the incident occurred at approximately 5:38 a.m. this morning as two black male suspects came to the rear door of the Arby's restaurant, located at 6928 S. Dupont Highway, Woodside, with masks covering their faces to disguise their identity.
One of the suspects was armed with an unknown type of handgun, police said. The men knocked on the door and upon opening the door, confronted a 31- year-old female employee and demanded money. The victim informed the men she had none and then ran into the center of the store. The suspects fled the restaurant on foot in an unknown direction without obtaining any cash or items.
There were no injuries as a result of this incident, police said.
The suspects were described as two black men, both between 5-foot-5 inches to 5-foot-7-inches and average build. The first was wearing a blue jacket with a gray-hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans and a mask covering his face. The second was wearing a black-hooded sweatshirt, dark colored jeans, dark shoes and a mask covering his face. He was armed with an unknown type of handgun.
