  • Police searching for man who stole TV from Shoprite

  • A man wearing a shirt that read “Chillen with My Peep” walked out of the Shoprite in Bear early Friday morning with a 42-inch television, police said.

  • A man wearing a shirt that read "Chillen with My Peep" walked out of the Shoprite in Bear early Friday morning with a 42-inch television, police said.
    Delaware State Police are looking for the man who they say stole the $400 LED Haier television from the grocery store on U.S. Route 40 in the Governors Square Shopping Center at around 7 a.m. Oct. 5.
    The suspect was caught on video surveillance as he placed the television set in a shopping cart and left the store without paying for it.
    Police are seeking the public's assistance in locating the suspect, who is described as a white male, between 25 and 30 years old, and between 5-feet, 9-inches and six-feet in height.
    Police said that the man has a large build and that his vehicle is possibly a black Mazda 626 or Nissan Altima type of vehicle.
