The Court Appointed Special Advocate Program (CASA) of the family court is seeking qualified adults to serve as volunteers.

CASA volunteers are trained members of the community who are appointed by family court judges to speak up for the best interests of abused and neglected children in court proceedings. They work with attorneys, social workers, and family members to attain the goal of a safe and permanent home for each child.

Each volunteer accepted into the program must complete 30 hours of initial training. Currently, CASA volunteers serve more than 500 children in Delaware. For more information call (302) 672-1067 or (302) 672-1037.
