Mr. Coker was born June 27, 1934 in Dover, Delaware to the late Alonzo Coker and Rebecca Carney Coker.
He retired as a self employed masonry contractor. He was an avid hobbyist throughout his life, starting with a passion for aircraft design and construction. This led to many fun years as a pilot and making memories in the air with friends and family. Mr. Coker also enjoyed watching the Phillies and Eagles. Flying small RC planes as well as RC boats, ornamental gardening, hiking, fishing, racing go-carts, and restoring automobiles…..he was a man of many talents!
After his retirement he became a master wood worker and was a member of the First State Wood Turners Club. His passion was creating fine wood working art pieces, sought after by collectors and displayed in galleries throughout the region.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Myrtle Morgan Coker, son Ronald G. Coker, and grandson Randy D. Coker, Jr.
