Most of us have heard stories over the years about finally getting a Cabelas store close to us. The last rumor was about it being placed in Smyrna to take advantage of the beach traffic, but the store that did open was a daytrip away in Hamburg, Pennsylvania.

Recently a more credible rumor started about the store setting up operations in Christiana Mall. Unless  Cabelas, Christiana Mall, and the internet postings announcing the move are bogus, we will have a store within driving distance right here(http://markets.financialcontent.com/stocks/news/read/22088018/Cabela’s®_Announces_Plans_for_Christiana). It's in the planning stages, but construction is slated for 2013 with the grand opening taking place in 2014. I'm sure that's not good news to some of the smaller gun, archery, and clothing stores, but for the consumer, it will be nice to be able to get top end supplies without waiting for the UPS guy to show up.

It's just 9 days until archer whitetail and shotgun dove seasons open.Time to make sure all your hunting gear is ready and you have your chigger and tick sprays topped off.
